Joey and Cupid

Joey and Cupid are a gorgeous pair of young males. Joey is a beautiful mismarked siamese male. He is fully grown, but he still plays and leaps like a baby, so he is probably quite young. Cupid is the little fawn hooded guy, who was unfortunately neutered at home by his previous owner.

Thankfully he has recovered fully and is in perfect health. He still has some growing to do. Joey is the adventurer of the pair. He loves to explore and climb. Cupid is a very gentle little guy who loves to snuggle. These boys are being fostered in Victoria. More pictures and information can by found at clicking the Adoption Information link below.

Little Critters Need Foster Homes!

Little Mischief Rescue is desperately in need of foster homes in the Victoria area for rats, ferrets, and other small animals. When rats and other little critters are taken into our rescue they must go to a quarantine home for 3 weeks before they can be moved into one of our regular foster homes with other rodents. Quarantine is crucial to making sure that new animals are healthy and ensures that they won't pass along any illness to other rodents in our care.

Being a quarantine foster home is a 3 week commitment to house, feed, and love a little critter. No experience is necessary - a cage, food, vet care, and instructions will be provided. All we ask is that you not have other rodents (rats, mice, gerbils, hamsters, etc.) in your home while you are quarantining an animal. If you would prefer a longer term fostering arrangement we are always looking for families to care for our critters while they await forever homes, which can sometimes mean a commitment of several months.

More information about Little Mischief Rescue is available at www.littlemischiefrescue.org. We are a relatively new rescue, run by experienced volunteers who have been active in animal rescue for several years, and we have a growing volunteer base in Victoria. We are a fun, friendly group of people and welcome new volunteers of all ages and experiences. If you have any questions or are interested in becoming a foster home please email reese@littlemischiefrescue.org.

Butterball & Lilydale

Two bonded chinchillas seek a home together where they can have a nice big cage and regular time out to play. Butterball is a confident chinchilla that loves to literally bounce off the walls of your house. Lilydale is a little bit more shy but still loves to join her friend on some adventures. These two don’t like being picked up but will to come to you and bounce all over your lap. Butterball is a neutered male and Lilydale is his girlfriend. They have to be adopted together as they are very much bonded. The Small Animal Rescue Society of BC or SARS BC is a registered non-profit organization comprised of a network of volunteer foster homes whose primary focus is to rescue and rehome any small animal in need. These chinchillas are being fostered in Victoria.

The Small Animal Rescue Society of BC or SARS BC is a registered non-profit organization comprised of a network of volunteer foster homes whose primary focus is to rescue and rehome any small animal in need.
