What is Victoria Adoptables and what do we do?

Victoria Adoptables first went online January 8th, 2005. This website was initially set up to feature dogs/cats and small animals from the CRD Pound on Pat Bay Hwy.,Victoria in the hopes of increasing adoptions. Gradually, other animal rescue organizations on Vancouver Island/Gulf Islands added their own website links featuring animals needing homes. Currently, 22 rescue organizations and CRD Pound post animals for adoption on this site.

Victoria Adoptables Rescue was formed in 2007 and rescue stray/abandoned dogs from pounds and small communities up island as well as over the border. We, as volunteers, do not believe animal rescue stops at the border. We are non-profit and foster dogs in our own home environment. For more info Email me.
