By using this website you agree that victoriaadoptables.com will not be responsible for or have any liability whatsoever for any injuries to any person or animals or damage to any property whatsoever caused by any animal adopted as a result of the use of the services of victoriaadoptables.com.

The adoptive owner(s) agree that because it is possible that illness or condition may be present or incubating at the time of the adoption, victoriaadoptables.com does not warrant or provide any assurance of any kind whatsoever as to the health and or behaviour of any adopted animal and the adopting owner agrees that victoriaadoptables.com assumes no responsibility or liability of any kind whatsoever for the health and behaviour of any adopted animal and that it is the responsibility of the adopting owner to assume all costs associated with the animals health and or behaviour and should the animal die at any time following the adoption, the adoptive owner shall assume all costs associated with the disposal of the animals remains.

The adopting owner(s) agree that it is their responsibility to seek veterinary or animal behaviourist advice in order to ascertain what tests, treatments, inoculations and other procedures should be performed to ensure the health and conduct of the adopted animal. The adopting owner(s) agree that is their responsibility to familiarize themselves with any and all municipal bylaws and ordinances or other laws of any kind associated with public safety, care, containment, escape, being at large, faeces collection, fines, breeding, mistreatment, abuse, neglect, abandonment, leashing, off-leashing, transport, and that warning signs should be clearly and visibly posted on the property where a dangerous or potentially dangerous dog is kept, and that the owners of such dogs should provide suitable containment, muzzling and leashing and should carry appropriate liability insurance and that they are responsible for any and all such other regulations of any kind whatsoever that are associated with the ownership of the adopted pet.

The adopting owner(s) agree that it is their responsibility to take any and all measures to ensure that the adopted animal enjoys a happy and long life and that those responsibilities are age and species-specific and include, but are not limited to, the care, companionship, play, humane discipline, licensing and identification, appropriate feeding, nutrition, adequate clean water, veterinary care (including spaying and neutering), adequate exercise, protections from predatory or dangerous animals whether wild or domesticated, belling or tethering or containing the animal to prevent predation on birds and other wildlife, and that chaining and or tethering is inadequate and that secure and adequate sized yards/kennels or other such containment facilities are necessary, that unsanitary and or dangerous surroundings must be avoided including, but not limited to, the accumulation of faeces, adequate all-season weather protection is necessary, and to not own such numbers of pets so as to limit the delivery and or performance of the above responsibilities to the adopted pet
