Nanaimo Animal Control Services operates the pound for the City of Nanaimo. Animals who are not claimed by their owners are put up for adoption. Our Pound & Adoption Centre is located at 1260 Nanaimo Lakes Rd, Nanaimo, BC.

It is understood and agreed that www.victoriaadoptables.com operates a website/rescue portal which provides access to local animal rescues to showcase their adoptable animals. Victoria Adoptables has no knowledge as to the health or temperament of any of these animals nor do we make any representations or assume responsibility for the animal in any way. Victoria Adoptables does not screen or advise the rescues who post their animals nor do we verify the information contained in any post.
The Rescue and it’s representatives agree that by posting on www.victoriaadoptables.com it will save, defend and hold harmless Victoria Adoptables from any claims, loss, expenses or liability of any kind that arises in connection with any animal advertised for adoption, including negligence on the part of Victoria Adoptables The Rescue and its representatives will agree to indemnify Victoria Adoptables for any and all liability, damages, expenses and costs incurred arising directly or indirectly out of the advertising, adoption or in any way associated with any animal in the care of the Rescue organization.
