About Bailey...

**CCAR will confirm the adoption fee This lovely young dog is eager to please, friendly, playful, and good with other dogs. She has had minimal training though as far as leash walks and manners are concerned. Bailey is tall and leggy and so you have to keep edibles away from lower counters but this is something that she can easily learn is not acceptable. After a 1 hour walk yesterday, she did not pull as much by the end of the walk and that was the first leash walk we have ever done. Bailey is an energetic dog who needs a home where she is going to get the exercise she needs but I cannot emphasize enough how much this girl wants to please you. She will learn quickly. A home with small children would not work at this point as she will bowl them over with her enthusiasm. She appears house trained so far but has not been allowed free rein of my house as I have a couple of cats who will take great offence to this bouncy girl and probably attack her. She is mildly interested in cats looking at them through the window and I suspect she would like to play with them. We know a minimal amount about her background, she came from the north of the Island. She is going to be spayed in the next couple of weeks. If you are interested, please contact ccar@shaw.ca for a dog application form. Please note that due to overload, I will only be contacting the first, most suitable applicants. We are volunteers and have limited time available. Thank you for understanding.
